in 2020 el hardwick released their debut album, titled 8, on 33-33. a climate fiction told in three mediums, the lp is accompanied by a 40-page book of poetry and photographs taken in collaboration with chrissie white, clara pathe and justina goldbeck. this is el hardwick’s first music released under their own name, after previously producing music under the moniker moonbow.
2022 then saw the release of '8 Remixes' - featuring reworks from the album by Ciel, Tiiva, 96 Back, Nailah Hunter, Tony Njoku, Laura Misch, gaiko and Memory Play. all profits from this release are split 50-50 between We Exist and top surgery recovery costs for london-based trans artist O.
in the same year, el released ‘body memory’, their first stand alone single under their own name, featuring highly acclaimed musician mabe fratti on cello.
el will be releasing new music in 2024.
